Choose between these compact excavators only after resolving the 308 CR offer. The expected distinction is a hammer-equipped 308 versus a mulcher-equipped 309, but the merchant’s 308 description also says mulcher. A comparison that silently treats the hammer as guaranteed would send you to an unverified package.
| 308 CR · 85596 | 309 CR · 85592 | |
|---|---|---|
| Fourth tool | Hammer in inspection; mulcher in listing | Mulcher / logging flail documented |
| Other inspected tools | Two buckets and auger | Two buckets and auger |
| Catalog size | 4.625 × 1.875 × 2 in | 4.625 × 1.875 × 2 in |
| Digging movement | Restricted in inspection | Restricted in inspection |
The 308 CR review preserves the conflicting track description as well. The 309 CR review explains the separate hose-detail discrepancy. Similar size does not make the evidence interchangeable.
Make the seller’s answer specific
If either bucket is all you intend to display, the fourth tool may not justify choosing one over the other. Compare the offered contents and condition, not an assumed accessory advantage. Neither inspection supports buying principally for deep digging movement.
