A product description may borrow the name of a full-size mechanism. That does not establish a motor in the miniature. Before buying for movement, look for an explicit description of how the model’s feature is operated.
Three statements that mean different things
| Wording | What still needs confirmation |
|---|---|
| Power access stairway | Whether this names the represented stair or a miniature drive |
| Movable stair | How it is moved and its documented travel |
| Motorized function | Power source, control and exact supported operation |
The merchant’s 6060 coal shovel description uses power-stair language; the inspection describes a positionable stair, not a verified motor. That is enough to stop a powered-function assumption, without pretending every product uses the same mechanism.
Ask a direct question
If the answer is unavailable, keep the powered function unconfirmed. A static replica may still be the right display purchase, but it should be chosen for the capability actually established.
