Weathering can make a work vehicle look convincing, but inspect the windows as well as the wheels. A dusty cab and a clear wiped arc tell a different visual story from uniformly dirty glazing. The question is whether the decoration supports the moment you want to depict.
Compare the actual treatment
Weathered 420F2 IT 85755
The inspection describes dirt across the wiper-swept area as well as the surrounding glazing.
Weathered 745 85704
The inspection describes a clean swept area within weathered windows.
These are observations about the inspected releases, not a rule that every production example is identical. Read the backhoe review or hauler review and request a normal-light cab photograph if the distinction matters to you.
Choose a visual story, not a repair project
For a recently worked vehicle, decide whether the wiper treatment fits the intended look. For a long-parked exhibit, a different appearance may be acceptable. Neither choice proves the model is damaged, and this comparison does not establish a way to remove the finish.
