Removing a model’s roof creates a second display problem: where does the loose panel go? These two exact AUTOart releases have inspected front-compartment storage, so the panel can remain with the car while the cockpit is exposed.
Two supported ways to keep the roof with the model
| Exact release | Storage observed | What changes the choice |
|---|---|---|
| Cone Orange Agera RS 79023 | Roof fits inside the flocked front compartment | Crisp roof fit and broad opening access; mixed carbon-effect treatment. |
| White Regera 79027 | Roof slides into the front compartment upside down | Transparent roof inset and deployable rear spoiler; mirrors require initial fitting. |
The Agera RS inspection expressly confirms that its roof-storage function works. The white Regera account describes the upside-down storage position. Neither claim is inferred from a full-size Koenigsegg brochure.
Stowed does not mean ready to transport
The evidence supports a display configuration. It does not establish a locking roof restraint or a shipping arrangement. Keep the manufacturer’s packing method for transport, and use the instructions for the small moving fittings rather than treating either inspection as a force or durability test.
The Agera RS review explains why a fully opened rear exposes finish compromises that do not affect the roof-storage choice. The Regera review covers its door sequence and supplied loose mirrors. For a collector concerned primarily with spoiler movement, the existing poseable-aero shortlist answers that separate question.
