Look at the vents before lifting a panel
The appeal of this S/T is concentrated in a quiet exterior: no large GT3 RS wing, a pale-blue finish and fine openings around the front bodywork. It makes sense for a Porsche collection that values visible engineering details without a race-style silhouette.
- At the nose: the inspection identifies photoetched intake and hood-vent details.
- Around the wheels: separate air guides and the model-specific wheel treatment distinguish the body from a generic 992.
- At the rear: the engine cover stays shut; opening the front compartment does not imply rear engine access.
The Meissen Blue S/T inspection also finds printed cabin controls, cloth belts and carbon-effect seat backs. Much of that work sits in a mostly black interior. Opening a door provides access, but does not create the color contrast of a brightly trimmed cabin.
Pros & Cons Analysis
See the source attributions and review limitations below.
Pros
- Photoetched elements and separate front air guides make the restrained body worth close viewing without relying on a tall wing.
- Cloth belts, decorated controls and carbon-effect seat backs reward the door-open view.
Cons
- The fixed rear cover rules out an engine-led display, even though the front hood and doors move.
- Most interior surfaces are black. The inspection notes limited contrast, so tiny details are less immediately apparent than their presence on a feature list suggests.
An exterior-detail Porsche with a clear rear limit
The strongest reason for 187470 is the combination of the wingless S/T shape and finely treated vents. Open a door to explore the cabin; leave expectations of engine access behind. A Heritage-package collection needs a differently specified miniature.
