Solido S1813001 Hakosuka review: the stance matters more than rolling

Solido’s white Hakosuka has appealing exterior fit and stance, but poor rolling and a plain cabin. See why a stationary classic-car display suits it best.

White bodywork, dark flares and Watanabe-style wheels give this Hakosuka its visual identity. The evidence supports a stationary classic-Japanese-car display more readily than a model chosen for smooth rolling.

The exact white Skyline inspection reports good paint, fit and printing, but poor rolling. The same article also covers a BMW; its three-wheel stance criticism belongs to that other model and should not be transferred to the Nissan.

What an open door adds

Doors open and the wheels steer, but the cabin is largely unpainted black plastic. Opening a door lets you see the layout; it does not uncover a richly differentiated interior.

The merchant calls it 1970 and the inspection 1971. Use S1813001 and the KPGC10 coupe identity when matching the offer, and qualify a year-specific collection label.

The Japanese-model shortlist shows when the interactive AE86 or much smaller Supra would solve a different collection need.

Pros & Cons Analysis

See the source attributions and review limitations below.

Pros

  • The sampled paint, printing and panel fit support the strong white-and-black exterior composition.

Cons

  • The inspection’s rolling criticism makes a static shelf pose the safer expectation.
  • An open door reveals limited color differentiation in the black plastic interior.

A classic Skyline to place rather than roll

The Hakosuka’s flares, wheels and clean exterior finish are the persuasive features. It is less well suited to a handling-focused purchase or a shelf organized around detailed interior finishes.
