AUTOart 71757 Charger Scat Pack review: look under the purple hood
The purple Scat Pack has its own engine and hood details, but its black cabin is less visually expressive than the paired Hellcat.

The strongest reason to choose this Charger over the green Hellcat is under the hood. AUTOart models the Scat Pack’s naturally aspirated engine separately, rather than treating the two trims as a badge change. A collection about engine layouts gains something from that distinction; a collection about colorful interiors may prefer the Hellcat.
| Area | This purple edition |
|---|---|
| Hood | Different intake arrangement from the Hellcat. |
| Rear | Trim-specific spoiler shape. |
| Cabin | Black seats and black belts, with less visual separation. |
The paired Charger inspection distinguishes both engine presentations and finds finely treated wheel and brake details. It also makes the interior tradeoff explicit: purple paint does not bring a similarly vivid cabin. The merchant confirms all four doors open, so the model offers access to an interior whose contrast remains restrained.
The paired Charger comparison shows what changes when cabin contrast takes priority over the naturally aspirated engine.
Pros & Cons Analysis
See the source attributions and review limitations below.
Pros
- Opening the hood reveals a genuinely different engine arrangement from the Hellcat, making the trim choice meaningful for an engine-focused collection.
- Separate valve details and decorated brake components provide useful close-up interest below the purple body.
Cons
- Black belts disappear against the dark seating more readily than the contrasting trim in the inspected Hellcat.
Buy the Scat Pack for the engine distinction
Purple is the visible attraction, but the separate engine treatment is the stronger reason to add this version beside a Hellcat. If one Charger must provide the most colorful cabin view, the black interior is a meaningful compromise.
