Which black parts actually carry a pattern?
| Carbon-effect areas | Plain gloss-black areas |
|---|---|
| Roof, side flaps and sill additions | Other exterior additions, including parts expected to represent carbon |
The distinction is important on a model sold around Performance Parts. The blue-and-red M2 inspection describes a mixture of treatments, not a complete conversion of every dark piece to a visible weave.
The blue edition’s red calipers and detailed brake discs offer a separate close-up subject behind the dark Y-design wheels. A wheel-focused arrangement therefore has evidence behind it even if the simplified trim is accepted.
- The exhausts use a parallel arrangement.
- They do not reproduce the optional central diagonal four-pipe layout.
- Opening doors and steering are confirmed by the merchant.
Choose the actual pictured combination. “Performance Parts” does not mean every available full-size option has been included.
The M2–M3 comparison weighs these selective patterns against the Touring’s plainer trim and different cabin visibility.
Pros & Cons Analysis
See the source attributions and review limitations below.
Pros
- The calipers and discs supply a visible secondary subject through the wheels.
- The broad top surface and selected side trim carry the effect rather than leaving the entire package plain.
Cons
- Gloss black substitutes for the weave on other additions, relevant when close-up carbon appearance drives the purchase.
Choose this configuration, not the options catalog
The M2 combines a blue body, dark wheels and selective patterned trim convincingly enough for that particular configuration. It is not an all-options replica; the exhaust arrangement and plain-black areas should match what you want to see.
